From October 28 to November 8, 2026, Brazil's Série A and Copa do Brasil enter an unusually compact scheduling window. The 33rd round of Série A is set for October 28, 29 and 30; the first legs of the Copa do Brasil semifinals are scheduled for November 1; the 34th round runs from November 2 through 6; and the semifinal second legs take place on November 7 and 8.

There is an important caveat to the phrase “12 straight days of matches.” The CBF communication published on September 27 says there will be football every day from October 28 to November 8, but the detailed distribution for the two competitions does not list a match on October 31. Counting only Série A and the Copa do Brasil, there are 24 matches spread across 11 of the 12 dates in the window.

How CBF fitted Série A and the Copa do Brasil together

The scheduling solution was to spread Brasileirão rounds across weekdays and use the weekends for the decisive stage of the Copa do Brasil. Round 33 is concentrated from Wednesday through Friday, before the semifinal first legs. Round 34 is then split from Monday through Friday, leaving the following Saturday and Sunday for the second legs.

In practice, this setup reduces overlap between the two national competitions. Palmeiras, Vasco, Grêmio and Atlético-MG, the Copa do Brasil semifinalists, play the knockout competition on the weekends and return to Brasileirão action within the broader sequence. The calendar above lists only confirmed dates and matches and does not make projections about qualification, titles or performance.

What happens on October 31

Saturday, October 31 is the point that requires the most care when reading the announcement. The CBF page describes the period as a 12-day sequence with matches from the country's two main national competitions, but the same text says Round 33 ends on October 30 and the Copa do Brasil semifinals start on November 1. The detailed Série A schedule follows that distribution and does not show a match on October 31.

Therefore, for anyone building a schedule specifically for Série A and the Copa do Brasil, the most accurate description is a 12-day window from October 28 to November 8 containing matches on 11 dates. If CBF later changes the schedule, the newest official table should take precedence.

Two venues were still listed as “to be confirmed”

In the published schedule for Rounds 33 and 34, two matches did not yet have a confirmed stadium: Vasco vs Flamengo on October 29 and São Paulo vs Corinthians on November 4. Their dates and kickoff times were listed, but the venue field remained “to be confirmed.”

That means supporters can use the dates and times for initial planning, but should check the latest CBF table before travel, ticket purchases or stadium access arrangements.
